As an Airside Experience Specialist , you are the face of our private aviation terminal, delivering a seamless, personalized, and welcoming experience for every guest, crew member, and aircraft in our care. In this dynamic role, you combine exceptional hospitality with hands‑on operational support to ensure our guests feel cared for from wheels down to wheels up. Responsibilities Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently in accordance with established policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate closely with team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to ensure service needs are met (fueling, de‑icing, lavatory, ground power, potable water, parking, marshalling, wing walking, catering delivery, towing). Proactively prepare for arriving/departing aircraft, identify and perform open job tasks, and immediately report safety concerns to all stakeholders. Operate and drive ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de‑icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, stair trucks, etc. Load and unload luggage and other cargo into and from aircraft and other modes of transportation. Provide professional and friendly guest service, maintaining a positive and helpful attitude at all times. Offer safe, convenient, and courteous shuttle transport for guests, luggage, and cargo. Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations. Handle fuel operations, including quality control, receipt, inventory, and accurate documentation. Understand, comply with, and enforce all operational, safety, and guest service requirements. Stop work when an unsafe condition or act is likely to cause harm; report concerns and cooperate in addressing them. Follow emergency response procedures during critical events. Understand, comply with, and enforce all security (physical, cyber, and data) protocols as dictated by Signature Aviation and the airport. Create accurate records of time worked and activities performed. Minimum Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Minimum age of 18 years. Ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, airport security badge requirements, and be insurable under company insurance policies. Legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction of employment. Excellent vision and coordination; must pass a color vision test for fuel inspection. Valid state driver’s license (commercial driver’s license may be required locally). Must exercise good judgment, follow directions, and cooperate with supervisors/management. Preferred: 3‑6 months experience or training in aviation, customer service, or a related field. Critical Thinking / Reasoning Ability: Follows multi‑step instructions and handles standardized situations. Interpersonal Skills: Works well with others, collaborates effectively, and serves guests. Multitasking: Handles multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Computer Skills: Uses a computer and email; learns company software and completes training modules. Task Management: Completes Signature training programs timely and effectively. Pay ranges vary based on skill sets, education, shift, responsibilities, seniority, location, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel. The starting rate for this position is $20.42 per hour, per the collective bargaining agreement.
