You’ll work closely with managers and leaders, providing thoughtful guidance on a wide range of people topics while helping to build engaged, high-performing teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on execution with growing strategic exposure, and who takes pride in strong follow-through and delivering high-quality work.This is a full-time position reporting to the Director, HR Business Partners for Product and Engineering. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy. This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. What does the day-to-day look like?In this role, you’ll work closely with leaders to execute these strategies in practice. This involves:Building trusted relationships with leaders, providing guidance on people topics while balancing business needs with employee experienceManaging employee relations matters, handling standard issues independently and partnering with Senior HRBPs and Employee Relations on more complex casesSupporting and coaching managers through performance management, development conversations, and team effectivenessLeading talent processes such as performance cycles, talent planning, and succession discussionsPartnering with Recruiting and cross-functional stakeholders to support workforce planning and headcount managementLeading and executing team-level organizational changes, ensuring thoughtful planning, clear communication, and alignment with broader organizational goalsUsing data and insights to identify trends and inform recommendations, with support as neededContributing to projects and initiatives that enhance the impact and scalability of the HRBP functionOf course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require!
