Product Manager, Identity Threat Protection (ITP) Join Okta’s Identity Threat Protection (ITP) team as an outcome-driven and customer-focused Product Manager. ITP aims to stop identity-based attacks, serving as a core security platform that detects and prevents threats, helping customers prevent breaches and secure their digital ecosystems. As a Product Manager for Okta ITP, you will own key product areas and contribute to the continued evolution of ITP to meet customer and business needs. You will work closely with senior product leaders, engineering, and design to help define how Okta detects and stops identity-based attacks, automates security responses, and reduces the risk of breach and compromise. What you will do Own specific product areas or capabilities within Identity Threat Protection (ITP), driving delivery from concept through launch and iteration Partner with senior product managers to shape roadmap priorities and translate strategy into clear, executable plans Develop a strong understanding of customer problems and the evolving identity attack surface, including human identities, AI agents, and non-human identities (NHIs) Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization, balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and business goals Define clear product requirements, user experiences, and success criteria to enable efficient and high-quality engineering execution Work closely with engineering, design, and security teams to deliver scalable, reliable product capabilities Leverage product data, customer feedback, and research to inform decisions and continuously improve product outcomes Support go‑to‑market efforts, including positioning, enablement, and driving product adoption and customer success Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing customer value Continuously build domain expertise in identity security, threat detection, and prevention Required 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, or identity-related products Foundational experience or exposure to identity or security domains such as IAM, threat detection, security operations, or incident response Strong communication skills (presentation, verbal, and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams Demonstrated ability to break down complex problems and drive structured execution in ambiguous environments Experience defining product requirements and working closely with engineering teams to deliver customer-facing capabilities Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure outcomes Technical foundation (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience) sufficient to engage in technical discussions and influence design decisions Proven ability to deliver meaningful product outcomes and contribute to business impact Preferred Experience contributing to the development and iteration of enterprise-scale products Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts, protocols, and systems Exposure to security products such as XDR, SIEM, SSE, or threat detection platforms Experience working in cross‑functional product teams spanning engineering, design, and go‑to‑market functions Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and ramp in complex technical domains Advanced degree in a technical or business field Salary & Benefits The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the SanFrancisco Bay area is between: $159,000—$219,000 USD. Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding SanFrancisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, NewYork and Washington: $142,000—$196,000 USD. For candidates located in Canada: $124,000—$170,000 CAD.
