Bookkeeper- JLL

What this job involves:

As a Bookkeeper at JLL, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our operations. This position involves managing day-to-day accounting transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring our financial records reflect the precision and integrity that our clients expect. You'll work within a culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe, supporting teams that drive real estate excellence. What your day-to-day will look like:

* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness

* Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger entries on a monthly basis

* Maintain organized financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting standards

* Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for internal stakeholders

* Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and financial reporting

* Collaborate with property management teams and finance colleagues to resolve discrepancies and answer financial queries

* Support audit preparations by providing requested documentation and responding to auditor inquiries

Required qualifications:

* HS diploma or GED

* Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

* Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes

* Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to maintain accurate financial records

* Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

* Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar platforms)

* Experience in commercial real estate or property management accounting

* Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel functions

* Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or working toward professional accounting certification

Schedule: M-F 9AM-5PM

Location: San Antonio TX
