Therapist

Rose Brooks Center, a nonprofit domestic violence agency, is seeking a full‑time Therapist to deliver domestic violence services to residents of Shelter and other Clinical Services clients. For more information about the organization, visit Other Aspects Of The Position Assess mental health/substance abuse issues for clients and connect them to additional supportive services as required. Communicate clinical information to the team, provide recommendations for individual treatment needs, and assist in implementation of the overall care plan. Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with agency policies and procedures, demonstrating proficiency in RBC competencies, trauma‑informed care, and accessibility, and aligning with the mission of Rose Brooks Center. Maintain awareness of secondary trauma risks and practice self‑care. Attend scheduled staff, team, and supervision meetings; participate in all required trainings. Qualifications Experience providing therapy or counseling sessions, preferably in a domestic violence agency, residential setting, or equivalent. Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work. Clinical licensure or license eligibility (LCSW, LMFT, LPC). Thorough knowledge of best practices and domestic violence dynamics. Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time‑management and organizational skills. Capacity to multi‑task, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant database systems. Exposure to animals (dogs and cats) and awareness of potential contagions associated with office or shelter environments. Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Hours Full‑time, exempt position. The role requires a flexible schedule of about 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with two evenings per week to accommodate participants. The role also includes on‑call rotation approximately one weekend every ten weeks. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary starting at $55,000 (exempt). A comprehensive benefits package is offered.
