Join our team at Eagle Pointe Skilled Nursing, a premier healthcare provider in Ashtabula, Ohio, where we treat our residents like family. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical care team as a Respiratory Therapist.

Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing residents with respiratory conditions and needs. You will administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy, and collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You will also ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and manage residents with respiratory conditions and needs

• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy

• Monitor ventilator-dependent residents and adjust settings as needed

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow care protocols

• Educate staff, residents, and families on respiratory care and safety

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing

• CRT or RRT credential through NBRC

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Must pass background check and drug screening
