Senior Design Engineer

The Judge Group is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the West Chester, PA area.

• Drive new product development from initial concept through production, while supporting ongoing sustaining engineering efforts
• Lead and review mechanical designs for valves, fittings, and related components with a focus on quality, cost, and manufacturability
• Evaluate customer requirements, specifications, and proposals to determine feasibility and application suitability
• Diagnose and resolve design, material, or process issues using root cause analysis
• Manage project scope, schedules, testing activities, and engineering changes
• Perform stress, flow, and basic FEA/CFD analyses to validate designs
• Develop and update 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks and legacy documentation
• Mentor and guide design engineers while collaborating with internal teams, customers, and suppliers

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of product design experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
• Background in fluid power or fluid control systems
• Proficiency with SolidWorks (AutoCAD experience a plus)
• Working knowledge of FEA, CFD, and compliance-driven design
• Strong project leadership, technical writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
