Temporary Information Technology Technician II 1 Year Term

Job Title

The job duties include:

• Responding to help desk calls and emails, logging computer problems, and assisting with routine problems; problems that are not quickly resolved or require a subject matter expert may be escalated to the next level;
• Utilizing and maintaining service desk management application;
• Analyzing, logging, tracking, and resolving software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to network connectivity issues, printers, servers, and applications to meet district needs;
• Managing and maintaining printers, scanners, and other peripherals including firmware and driver updates;
• Providing initial new user training for Microsoft Office and other required applications as well as other end user IT training as necessary;
• Setting up, configuring, installing, and documenting hardware and software;
• Providing support for mobile computing devices and remote access;
• Preparing and maintaining the documentation and standard operating procedures and checklists for end users and other technicians;
• Receiving and maintaining inventory of IT related assets according to internal control policies;
• Assisting with creating and closing user accounts;
• Providing backup assistance to the Courtroom Technology Administrator and other IT staff;
• Participating in local or national conferences and similar gatherings to continue professional development; and
• Performing other related duties, as assigned.
