Tech, Calibration QA

Baxter seeks a Calibration Technician to support equipment calibration and maintenance for manufacturing and service operations in a regulated medical device environment. The role involves testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment while maintaining compliance with industry standards and FDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate electrical, electronic, mechanical, and analytical measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and proper operation
• Maintain, troubleshoot to component level, and repair equipment damage to keep manufacturing and service equipment operational
• Complete calibration and equipment documentation following approved procedures in FDA-regulated facility
• Operate electronic meters and test equipment; read blueprints and schematics to perform assigned tasks
• Support investigation and troubleshooting of equipment issues affecting manufacturing operations

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of college/technical trade school or US military electronics training
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic mechanical ability with willingness to learn
• Good math and reading skills with excellent attention to detail
• Computer literacy including MS Excel, Word, and Access databases
• Knowledge of anti-static precautions and safe electricity practices
• Prior calibration experience beneficial but not required; medical device industry experience preferred
• Ability to lift 15 pounds from floor to shoulder and push/pull up to 6 pounds

Compensation: $49,600.00 - $68,200.00 base annually
