Details Float Pool position within a 495-bed acute care facility Patient population consists of acute care Med/Surg and Telemetry patients Average patient ratio of 1:7 Uses EPIC EMR, required experience Day shift schedule, 3x12's from 6:45a to 7:15p Every other weekend and holiday rotation required Float to other units required No on-call requirements No block scheduling accommodated Requirements Active RN license (VA State or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only), with NIH Stroke Scale also required Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required Cardiac nursing experience required Prior travel nursing experience required EPIC EMR experience required Additional Information Care for acute care patients within a Level II Trauma Center Facility has earned an "A" grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy Up to 3 days of preapproved time off permitted, excluding holidays May request one holiday off, with a maximum of two days considered for holiday RTO Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius will be considered in place of the standard 65-mile radius rule Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience American Traveler Job ID P-757411.
