If you already have your certification and experience providing in-home care, we would love to hear from you.We also welcome applicants who are currently enrolled in a CNA or HCA training program and will be certified soon.ResponsibilitiesAs a caregiver with Senior Helpers, your work may include:Building meaningful relationships with clients through conversation and companionshipAssisting with activities of daily living such as dressing, walking, and personal hygieneSupporting light housekeeping and meal preparationEngaging clients in hobbies and recreational activities such as games, gardening, or craftsObserving and reporting any changes in client condition to the care teamAccompanying clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and community outingsCommunicating with the care team and documenting care tasks using our caregiving appDocumentation ExpectationsAccurate documentation is an essential part of providing safe, high-quality care. Caregivers are required to complete detailed shift notes in our caregiving app at the end of every visit, documenting the care provided, the client’s condition, and any changes observed.Clear documentation helps ensure continuity of care between caregivers and keeps families and the care team informed.Caregivers who take pride in thorough documentation and professional communication are highly valued on our team.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have a genuine heart for caregiving and a commitment to reliability.Additional requirements include:A genuine passion for caring for seniorsCNA or HCA certification requiredMinimum 1 year caregiving experienceExcellent communication skillsValid driver’s licenseMust have a reliable cell phone and be comfortable using caregiving apps for scheduling and documentationMust be able to write clear and accurate documentation in EnglishMust be comfortable using technology to clock in/out, review care plans, and complete shift notesAbility to pass background check and drug screeningMust be 18 years of age or olderReliability is essential in this role.
