We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional who is committed to providing high-quality patient care. **Why You'll Love Working With Us ** + Quick & Easy Application - Apply anytime, anywhere with our enHANce app. + Referral Rewards- Receive referral bonuses for eligible healthcare professionals you refer.($800 referrer / $200 referee) + Personalized Support - Work with a dedicated recruiter committed to your success. + Exclusive Employee Benefits - Enjoy free continuing education (CEUs) exclusive marketplace discounts, hotel savings, pet insurance, and Employee Assistance Program. **Shift Details:** + 8 hrs shift, 40hrs/week + Evenings, Nighths, Weekends and Holidays **Nursing Specialty: Correctional (Preferred Juvenile Correctional)** **Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:** + Will be working with juvenile inmate patients who are incarcerated struggling with mood, anxiety, and other behavioral conditions in a variety of settings. + Individuals should be comfortable working in a locked forensic environment with frequent interactions with law enforcement + Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans. + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. + Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes. + Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. + Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. + Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies. + Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice. + Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies. + Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR). + Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes. **Minimum Qualifications ** + Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. + Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Correctional Registered Nurse in a patient experience, + Preferably with a background in working with juvenile inmate patients who are incarcerated struggling with mood, anxiety, and other behavioral conditions in a variety of settings. + Individuals should be comfortable working in a locked forensic environment with frequent interactions with law enforcement + AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS Certification, + MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), + Completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date. + Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. + Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements). **Benefits ** + Competitive Pay + Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Short-Term Disability Insurance(eligibility begins after 60 days) + 401(k) Retirement Plan + Travel Stipends for Qualified Candidates **Ready to Get Started?** Apply through this job posting and submit your most recent resume.
