QA Automation Lead/DevOps

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead/DevOps to spearhead our test automation strategy across our modern Laravel (PHP) and React stack. You'll lead a team of quality engineers to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools that ensure product reliability, performance, and a seamless user experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role that balances technical execution with team mentorship and strategy, helping to embed quality into every stage of our CI/CD pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end, integration, API, and UI test automation using Playwright for frontend (React) and REST Assured for REST API testing, with Java and TestNG as the primary automation framework.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to define test plans and ensure quality gates in CI/CD
- Own and evolve the test automation architecture and strategy
- Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for test writing and maintenance
- Ensure proper coverage, traceability, and documentation of test cases and defects
- Advocate for shift-left testing and embed QA practices early in the development lifecycle
