Welders and Fitters play a crucial role in manufacturing, repair, and maintenance projects, working primarily within medium to small teams. Utilizing standard fabrication equipment, they are responsible for joining, fitting, and fabricating metal components according to blueprints and quality standards. This role requires precision, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure high-quality outcomes with no travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting tasks on manufacturing, repair, and maintenance projects
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Fabricate metal components with precision
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment
• Collaborate effectively within medium and small team environments

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in welding and fitting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
• Strong blueprint interpretation skills
• Experience with metal cutting and measurement tools
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Teamwork and assembly experience
