Job Summary (Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator I)
- Deliver and set up inventory at customer-designated sites.
- Store, distribute, and fulfill orders for merchandise, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Check and verify goods against purchase orders or invoices.
- Transport company cargo to customer locations.
- Perform inventory tasks per local VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) processes.
- Follow all equipment usage guidelines; keep equipment clean and safe.
- Report equipment or process concerns to management.
- Assist Vallen team with bringing materials to Point-Of-Use (POU) areas and loading vending machines.
- Stock cabinets and maintain organized storage areas.
- Ensure accuracy of all shipments to customers.
- Set up customer space for receiving and stocking shipments.
- Handle customer spot buy orders and relay information to Customer Service or Account Representative.
- Recommend changes to customer inventory levels based on usage trends.
- Follow customer orders from warehouse pick-up to on-site delivery and setup.
- Assist with cleaning work area and machines.
- Adhere to safety protocols (steel toe shoes required; may lift up to 50 lbs unassisted).
- Maintain professional attire (jeans/khakis and work-appropriate shirt; no shorts, sweatpants, or inappropriate language on clothing).
- Demonstrate reliability and dependability in all job duties.
- Temporary assignment (6 months) with potential for temp-to-hire based on site needs.
- Typical hours: Mon-Fri, 7 am 3:30 pm (may vary).
