Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating shifts — 3×12-hour shifts, expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Room department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Manage a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover, prioritizing patient safety and quality of care
• Collaborate within a team-oriented setting to deliver timely and effective emergency nursing interventions
• Assess, monitor, and respond to a broad range of emergency and critical patient presentations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Hawaii — candidates not currently holding an active HI license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of offer and must have it in hand by the assignment start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Procedural Sedation certification
• TMCC certification
• EMPC certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume emergency department setting
