Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Travel certified occupational therapy assistant for a 13-week contract in Hollister, California. Provide high-quality rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Earn up to $2,100 per week based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patient mobility and daily living skills
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising occupational therapist
• Document treatments, progress notes, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and improving functional independence

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• Active California COTA license required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative healthcare team

Preferred Skills:

• Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
