Maintenance Tech
The Machine Maintenace position will have the authority and responsibility to accomplish the duties as described below.
- Installation of a wide variety of machine tools and other manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose, plan, and execute repair on machine tools in an thorough and efficient manner
- Perform preventive maintenance on machine tools and other manufacturing equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams to diagnose and perform repairs
- Strong understanding of machine tool programming languages and PLC
- Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer invoked quality requirements (AS-9100, for example).
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and organization(6s)
- Work well within a team to achieve minimal downtime of manufacturing equipment
Skills required
- Mechanical maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of CNC machining equipment
- Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Consistent and dependable attendance
