Junior Commercial Driver's License Truck Driver

Job Description

You’ve earned your Class A CDL — now build the experience that turns it into a long-term driving career in Arlington, VA and the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We are seeking recent CDL school graduates to join an expanding Eastern/Mid‑Atlantic regional fleet. The role combines paid, mentored training with predictable regional routes and strong compensation and benefits.

Weekly pay: $1,600–$1,800+ (paid every Friday)
Paid training for a full month

What the job looks like

Predictable regional routes serving Arlington and the surrounding Mid‑Atlantic area
Approximately 3,000 miles per week
No‑touch dry van freight
Majority of loads are drop‑and‑hook
New automatic trucks, fully loaded and assigned to each driver
No slip seating
24/7 dispatch support
Home time options to support work‑life balance: home weekly or home every other week

Training program

Paid training program available for new drivers who have completed at least 120 hours of CDL school instruction
One‑on‑one mentoring with experienced drivers
Focus on safe driving practices and gaining on‑road experience to progress confidently into regular regional service

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 120 hours of CDL school instruction
Satisfactory driving record
Must meet DOT and company hiring requirements
Available to start promptly
