Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Washington
• Previous experience delivering OT services in school settings is highly desired
• Strong assessment and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
• Ability to adapt and individualize therapy approaches for students with varying needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop goal-oriented intervention plans for students requiring OT services
• Implement therapy sessions individually or in small groups, focusing on motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
• Consult and collaborate closely with teachers and staff to support student success within classroom environments
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports and records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in team discussions to craft the most effective support programs

Position Details:

• Contract role beginning immediately and extending through the full school year, ending June 11, 2027
• Based in the area near Ferndale and Everson, WA 98247
• Flexible, part-time schedule: 1-2 days per week (7-14 hours), making it ideal to balance with other commitments or interests
