Mechanic

Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced transportation environment. In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, and repair tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment that support expedited LTL, intermodal, and final mile operations across North America. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, brake, and engine systems, and responding to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime. You’ll work closely with operations teams, follow strict safety and DOT standards, and maintain accurate service records.
