Job Requirements Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility Minimum of 2 years of Stepdown, SDU, or IMCU nursing experience required Intermediate care ventilator experience required BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIH Stroke certification required Previous travel nursing experience required Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU and Stepdown patients with varying acuity levels Monitor and manage patients receiving drips, including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Lasix, and Bumex Care for patients using BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and ventilator support as needed Support patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, renal, and general medical conditions Perform ongoing assessments, identify changes in condition, and respond quickly to evolving patient needs Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes throughout every shift Why Travel with This Ohio Nursing Job?
