Job Opportunity – Emergency Department / Medical-Surgical RN – Iowa

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Iowa (Non-local candidates only - must reside more than 50 miles from facility)

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time assignment with every third weekend rotation; holiday coverage as needed. On-call responsibilities at $4/hour.

• Work collaboratively with House Supervisors and ED providers/mid-level practitioners

• Overtime and holiday multipliers at 1.25x base rate
• 13-week contract; limited time-off requests accepted (maximum 5 days, must be submitted at application)

Requirements:

• Iowa RN License or Compact State License
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience (required)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
• TNCC certification (preferred)
• PALS certification (preferred)
• BSN degree (preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience (preferred)
• Current Emergency Room Skills Checklist (within 1 year)
• Current Medical-Surgical Skills Checklist (within 1 year)
• Two supervisory-signed references from the past two years
• Reliable personal vehicle required
