Claims Assistant

Responsibilities Responsible for daily administrative tasks to support the Claims Department. Answer phones, route calls and take messages. Prepare and mail correspondence. Use ImageRight, WINS and various Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word & Excel). Process and review invoices. Open, prep, sort, and scan mail into IMAGERIGHT. FNOL claim setup and related workflow process. Utilize the MCS portal to submit HIPAA authorizations for medical records. Process Summons & Complaints. Share GNY’s files with third parties via OneDrive. Set Up Independent Medical Exams. Back up main switchboard as needed. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years administrative experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 required. Experience with ImageRight and WINS a plus.
