- Configure, test, and validate building automation and control sequences to ensure optimal performance of HVAC and related building systems.
- Review, interpret, and work from construction drawings, blueprints, schematics, and project documentation to design and implement control solutions.
- Support panel design, panel board layouts, and integration of field devices, sensors, and controllers into building automation systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, low-voltage control components, and direct digital controls (DDC) in the field to resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform in-office engineering and programming work, including creating, modifying, and validating control programs and graphics using building automation and drawing software.

- Provide professional, customer-facing support, including status updates, technical explanations, and recommendations to building owners and facility teams.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers by delivering high-quality service and reliable technical solutions.
- Lead owner training sessions to educate end users on system operation, capabilities, and best practices for their building automation systems.
- Mentor and support junior technicians by sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and guidance on project execution and customer interaction.
- Assist with validation and testing of building systems, including HVAC equipment, airflow, hydronic systems, and related controls.
- Apply basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios when performing calculations related to system design and commissioning.
- Travel occasionally to job sites to support project execution, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer meetings, while maintaining a primary focus on in-office engineering and programming work.
