Job Details - Travel LPN / Long-Term Care Nurse

• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87109 (Albuquerque healthcare jobs / New Mexico nursing jobs)
• Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC) / Rehabilitation Center
• Assignment Type: Travel LPN
• Start Date: April 8, 2026
• End Date: June 29, 2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 12 Hour Days; 3 shifts per week (06:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $910 - $950 (competitive travel LPN pay)

Job Requirements - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and commit to the full assignment duration

Responsibilities - LPN / Long-Term Care Nurse Duties

• Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders (medication administration)
• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions; report changes to RNs and providers
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote a safe, comfortable environment for residents
• Assist with wound care, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures as required
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
