Senior Specialty Representative - Respiratory - Knoxville, TN

Amgen seeks a Senior Specialty Representative for its Knoxville, Tennessee respiratory territory. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to medical professionals, implementing sales strategies, managing customer accounts, and achieving territory sales targets while advancing the company's mission to serve patients with serious illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen respiratory products to healthcare professionals and communicate benefits
• Execute branded sales strategies, deliver sales messages, and schedule medical education programs
• Manage customer accounts, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
• Analyze territory sales effectiveness and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and maintain continuous learning in disease state and competitive landscape

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or hospital sales experience
• Or Associate degree and 6+ years relevant sales experience
• Or High school diploma/GED and 8+ years relevant sales experience
• Preferred: 3+ years specialty sales in oncology, cardiology, nephrology, rheumatology, or related therapeutic areas
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred
• Local market knowledge and demonstrated competencies in planning, communication, and relationship building

Compensation: $118,091 - $159,771 base salary
