Maintenance Shift Engineer, Veedersburg, IN

Responsibilities Manage the daily activities of maintenance staff. Provide leadership, supervisory, and technical support to the maintenance team. Troubleshoot all plant industrial systems. Collect data and complete projects and actions to reduce Technical Downtime (TDT) and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Profile Education/Credentials/Certifications/Length of Experience Minimum of an associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, Electronics, Electricity, or related field required or 5+ years of experience. Supervisory Experience a plus. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities High level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities. High level knowledge of automation, control system engineering and robotics. Advanced mechanical knowledge preferably in forging, die casting or foundry. Excellent communication skills. Excellent interpersonal abilities. Basic algebraic abilities as well as ability to read and interpret measurements. Excellent reasoning and problem-solving ability. Ability to follow step-by-step instructions. Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn functionality of new equipment and systems. Ability to stay organized and establish priorities.
