Registered Nurse Labor and DeliveryJob Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years of Labor and Delivery Experience Required License: Active State License Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP Must-Have: IV Start Experience Epic Experience Required Description: 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience is required. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NRP is necessary. Skills required include IV start and Labor and Delivery experience. Epic experience is required. May be required to float to different units as needed. Previous travel experience is preferred. The unit performs approximately 450 deliveries per month. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, and adults. The patient ratio is 1:1 for both days and nights. All candidates must complete fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process. Candidates must be responsive and cooperative during credentialing to avoid cancellations. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor. Candidates must possess a valid compact or state nursing license before submission.
