Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment such as Impella, GE monitors, and IABP.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress within the Meditech system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and certifications requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate critical thinking, strong clinical judgment, and self-motivation.
  
  
• 
  Experienced in performing procedures like central line and dialysis catheter insertions.
  
  
• 
  Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and float within staffing policies.
  
  
• 
  Skilled in managing hemodynamic monitoring and complex patient needs.
