Security Officer - First Shift

As a Dispatch Security Professional at a utilities location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor access activity, support incident response, and help maintain a secure environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications for security-related incidents, alarms, access concerns, and operational requests, documenting activities according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, including communications with field personnel and site stakeholders. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and communicate observations or maintenance concerns through established reporting channels. Minimum Requirements: Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
