Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Medical Surgical/Rehab. The role involves providing patient-centered care to adult inpatients in a dynamic hospital environment. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs to ensure stability.
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress accurately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.
- Execute procedures such as post-stroke care, neuro and ortho surgeries, and increased therapy needs.
- Utilize EMR (Meditech) effectively for documentation and communication.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.
- Active RN license in Kansas or the relevant state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Rehab settings.
- BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in rehab documentation and patient care procedures.
- Strong critical thinking and adapting to floating policies across medical floors.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Engage with a highly experienced staff in a team-focused environment with extensive resources.
