Job Summary
We are seeking Electrical Infrastructure Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure the reliability and safety of the facility's power distribution, lighting, and utility systems. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, visual inspections, thermal scans, and 6S housekeeping in accordance with NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E standards. You will follow lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and facility safety policies while working in environments that may include heights, confined spaces, cleanrooms, and high-noise areas. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities and inspection results in the CMMS, assisting with troubleshooting power interruptions, and supporting the continuous improvement of the facility's electrical infrastructure.
Job Description
- Support Infra Electrical personnel in maintaining electrical distribution systems, lighting infrastructure, and facility power components.
- Perform repairs, equipment 6S, and labeling to maintain electrical reliability and code compliance.
- Assist in executing preventive maintenance routines and data collection for NFPA 70B compliance reporting.
- Conduct visual inspections, thermal scans, and condition monitoring support activities.
- Ensure maintenance documentation, inspection logs, and safety reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and NFPA 70E safe work practices along with all company safety policies.
- Work safely at heights, confined spaces, and loud production or utility areas as required by the task.
Skills Required
- Journeyman-level electrical experience or higher required (license not required)
- Experience maintaining industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and electrical infrastructure
- Knowledge of NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and electrical safety practices
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Experience using a CMMS to document maintenance activities and inspection records
- Ability to work in clean rooms, at heights, in confined spaces, and in high-noise industrial environments
Education/Training/Certifications
- High school diploma or GED required
Additional Requirements
Available Shifts:
- Shift A: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Shift C: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Pay rate
- $40- $50 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
