Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, and monitor activity throughout assigned areas. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat08:00 PM - 08:00 AMSun08:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers, and help to deter unauthorized access through credential checks and visitor processing. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gate areas, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Support logistics and distribution operations by monitoring vehicle traffic, verifying authorized pickups and deliveries, and communicating with site contacts regarding access-related issues and/or operational concerns. Minimum Requirements A guard card and/or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
