Job Summary We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Director of Operations – Central & Southeast Regions to oversee a regional portfolio of retail security operations across multiple client locations. Retail industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly within Asset Protection (AP), Loss Prevention (LP), retail security, or multi-site retail operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, workforce performance, financial accountability, client satisfaction, and service delivery throughout a multi-state region. The ideal candidate is a strategic operations leader with experience managing complex, multi-site operations. This individual brings a strong background in client relationship management, operational leadership, workforce optimization, and financial oversight, with the ability to lead high-performing teams while delivering measurable business results. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Security Management, Operations Management, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing multi-site security, operations, or service programs. Retail industry experience preferred, particularly in Asset Protection (AP) or Loss Prevention (LP). Proven experience leading regional operations supporting multiple clients across geographically dispersed locations. Strong knowledge of workforce management, labor planning, operational reporting, compliance, and service delivery. Experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor costs, and operational financial performance. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams while building strong client relationships and driving operational excellence. Experience implementing operational improvements through technology, reporting, and performance metrics. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel approximately 25% based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Lead regional operations across multiple retail client locations, ensuring consistent execution, operational excellence, and exceptional service delivery. Partner with regional leadership and clients to strengthen relationships, resolve operational challenges, and identify opportunities to enhance service and grow existing business. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Drive workforce planning, staffing strategies, scheduling, and operational readiness to ensure contract compliance and service excellence. Monitor operational performance through reporting, analytics, audits, and key performance indicators while implementing best practices that improve efficiency and reduce operational risk. Manage regional financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls to achieve operational and business objectives. Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable regulatory standards. Partner with cross-functional teams to support new account implementations, operational transitions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize technology, reporting tools, and operational data to improve performance, enhance decision-making, and drive consistent execution across the region.
