Job Description

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week acute care assignment. The RN will provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and traumatic conditions, perform rapid patient assessments, triage, administer medications, assist with emergency procedures, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, high-quality patient care.

The Emergency Department includes trauma, fast-track, behavioral health, and general emergency cases. Candidates must be comfortable managing emergency patients in a fast-paced environment and performing triage when needed.

• Active RN license (facility willing to request a 90-day Emergency License for qualified candidates).
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience .
• Experience in a high-acuity Emergency Department preferred.
• Triage experience required.
• Experience with MEDITECH EMR/charting system preferred.
• Ability to care for trauma and general emergency patients.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour mid shifts and every other weekend.
