A Professional Registered Nurse who is accountable for the planning and administering of direct nursing care to patients in the Operative Suite, and in accordance with the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice. • Circulator
• Scrub
• PACU
• Surgical site assessment
• Prepares for and assists with other procedures
• Stays current on McKesson Applications
• Assists in transporting patients
• McKesson/Paragon Applications for all RNs
• During periods of room downtime
• Logs into ORM and intra op charting
• Navigates the electronic record
• Enters all data appropriately
• Adds remarks to the paper copy of the case card
• Adds the case to the system
• Drops unused items down off of the case card
• Troubleshoots issues during documentation

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

EXPERIENCE

2-3 years med/surg experience preferred or previous experience in the operating room environment.

LICENSURE

Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island. RN, BLS Certification and must obtain ACLS certification.
