Job Details Location: Barracks Road Shopping Center - Charlottesville, VA 22903 Position: Part Time Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Pay: $15.00 – $16.54 per hour Travel: Up to 25% Shift: Any About the Role As a Lovesac Sales Associate, you will create a welcoming in‑store experience, help customers design our products to fit their style and space, and support our sustainability mission. Responsibilities Actively engage customers using Lovesac selling techniques. Achieve personal sales goals and key performance indicators. Provide attentive service, build loyalty, and demonstrate strong product knowledge. Guide customers from first interest to purchase, including quote management and closing sales. Conduct customer outreach using company tools and communication methods. Resolve customer issues quickly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Maintain a welcoming, visually appealing store by following visual merchandising standards. Oversee store operations such as opening/closing, inventory, exchanges, marketing, and promotions. Use company tools, sales data, and reports to prioritize tasks and support daily operations. Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring standards, minimizing risks, and maintaining safety. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. High‑School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency with technology for sales and customer support (product demonstrations, CRM usage). Flexibility to support in‑person and remote customer experience, including travel to local stores, vendors, and meetings. Excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions and sensitive data. Strong communication skills and ability to manage conflict effectively. Physical ability to move, lift, and assemble furniture items up to 75 pounds and perform required physical actions (bending, twisting, kneeling, etc.). Benefits Competitive hourly wage.
