As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, report security-related concerns, and contribute to smooth operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials as directed, and maintain required entry and exit records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have loss prevention experience, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Have X-ray screening experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
