About the Role:
Lake Charlevoix EMS Authority is looking for dedicated and skilled Paramedics to join our team in Charlevoix, MI and the surrounding townships. Sign on bonus:
$3,000 paid over 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing advanced life support (ALS) care in the field
• Assess, treat, and stabilize patients using advanced medical equipment and protocols
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and airway management
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff to ensure seamless patient handoffs and continuity of care
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and transport information in patient care reports (PCRs)
• Maintain and inspect EMS vehicles, equipment, and medical supplies to ensure readiness
• Collaborate with fire, law enforcement, and other emergency services personnel on scene

Requirements:

• Current Michigan State Paramedic licensure
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and perform effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members
• Prior EMS field experience preferred; new graduates with clinical excellence encouraged to apply
