Fusion Medical Staffing – Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Key Details Start date: 05/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Shift: Day Location: Facility in Holly Springs, NC Compensation: Competitive pay with a tax‑free stipend (subject to confirmation) Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards while addressing patients’ comfort needs. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to stay current with best practices. Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress in community or home‑based settings. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply. Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; proficiency in PC skills. Physical stamina to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Professional demeanor to work effectively with a variety of personnel. Technical ability to perform fine manipulation and assist with procedures. Coping with frequent public contact, meeting deadlines under pressure, working independently or under supervision as needed, and maintaining focus during irregular schedules.
