Maintenance Mechanic

This position is designed and intended to be performed in Columbus, MS.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adheres to a maintenance program which includes preventative maintenance.
• Assists in design of maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
• Responds to breakdowns.
• Diagnoses faults.
• Repairs equipment.
• Assists in the inventory of supplies, tools and equipment
• Interfaces effectively with external suppliers and customers.
• Adheres to creating and maintaining impeccable plant standards and conditions.
• Adheres to all Safety practices set forth by OSHA.
• Adheres to HACCP Food Defense plan.
• Adheres to Good Manufacture Practice as set in Sqwincher GMP plan.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years maintenance/mechanical experience.
