Job Summary
Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (RN) Local, the organization is seeking a dedicated Pre-Operative RN to deliver direct patient care in an outpatient surgery setting. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and education, ensuring a holistic approach tailored to individual patient needs in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides direct and indirect patient care to outpatient surgery patients, utilizing nursing processes such as assessment, care planning, and education. Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams. Adheres to policies, industry standards, and regulations to promote a high-quality patient experience.
• Required Qualifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS certifications. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with outpatient surgery or pre-op care. Comfortable performing airway assessments, administering medications, and managing perioperative procedures.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/26/2026 and ends on 01/18/2027.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to endoscopy (Endo) as needed. No weekend or holiday shifts unless specified. Must complete necessary onboarding modules within 3-5 days of contract signing and provide all compliance documentation 10 days prior to start.
