Robotics Assembly Technician Location: Longmont, CO Our team at eBay’s Roca Robotics division manufactures robots that sort trading cards and manage inventory for large vendors. Each robot is assembled in our Longmont, Colorado facility. Essential Functions Assemble new units in accordance with documentation and training Test new units Troubleshoot issues Perform maintenance on existing units Handle some shipping and receiving tasks Maintain workspace organization What You Bring To The Team 1 year of mechanical assembly and low-voltage electrical experience Proficiency with basic hand and power tools Attention to detail for repetitive tasks Ability to work unsupervised to meet deadlines Basic computer skills You’ll Go Beyond If You Have Previous robotics experience Experience with the Linux operating system and/or command-line Certified to operate an electric forklift Physical Demands Use standard office equipment, including a computer Sit or stand for extended periods, up to 8-10 hours per day Use vision to read computer screens and printed materials Frequently stand, talk, and listen Continuously use hands and fingers repetitively Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Push or pull heavy loads (up to 1000 lbs.) with proper equipment Work Environment Work in a loud, open environment for up to 10 hours per day at the Longmont, Colorado location Compensation The base pay range at commencement of employment in Colorado is $40,000 - $78,000, depending on location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may include a target bonus and restricted stock units, as well as medical, financial, and other benefits, including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off.
