We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED) / Critical Access for a 13-week contract in Kremmling, Colorado. The RN will provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute and emergent conditions while supporting assessment, stabilization, treatment, and coordination of care from admission through discharge.

Candidates must be comfortable working independently in a Critical Access Hospital environment and participating in required night, holiday, and on-call coverage. Previous Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience is preferred .

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with acute, urgent, and emergent medical conditions.

• Rapidly recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency and trauma nursing interventions.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring patient response and supporting stabilization of critically ill or injured patients.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate safe and effective emergency patient care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic and participate in required night-shift, holiday, and on-call coverage.

• Minimum 2 Years of Recent Emergency Department Registered Nurse Experience Required; Critical Access Hospital Experience Preferred.

• Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable Colorado Nursing Practice Requirements Must Be Met Before Start.

• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certifications Required.

• Current PALS or Equivalent Pediatric Emergency Certification Required.

• Current TNCC Certification Required; Ability to Work 3x12-Hour Night Shifts, 2 Required Call Shifts, and Holiday Coverage Required.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced Emergency Department RN comfortable providing high-acuity emergency and trauma care in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
