Schedule

Call requirement: 7 days per 2-week pay period (2 nights/week + 1 weekend every 2 weeks)

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Compact state nursing license in-hand at submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Neuro skills highly preferred
• Prior experience with diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterization and PCI
• Familiarity with circulatory assist devices (Impella/IABP) preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe and effective nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.

Monitor and assess patient conditions pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, taking appropriate actions as necessary.

Assist in the management of emergency situations related to cardiac interventions.

Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care.

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation: 40 hours required.

Background checks are required; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits.

RTO must be included at the time of submission.
