Park Worker - Landscape/Horticulture (Temporary Part-Time Position)

Position Summary Park Worker – Landscape/Horticulture (Temporary Part‑Time Position). Assists with landscape management and mowing at parks and landscaped areas across the City. Duties include mowing, planting, watering, weed control, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control. Responsibilities Mowing Planting Watering Weed control Mulching Fertilizing Pruning Pest control Qualifications Minimum age: 18 years Valid Missouri driver’s license Ability to lift and carry landscape materials and equipment Willing and able to work outdoors in inclement weather and extreme heat Excellent work history and attendance record Hours Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (varying hours) Pay $15.00 – $16.00 per hour Benefits and Employment Terms Temporary employees are exempt from seniority, grievance, or appeal privileges and do not receive benefits except as required by law.
