R&D Shipping Quality Coordinator

As CBRE Mail Services Inventory & QC Specialist, you will assist with providing administrative support to a large team or department. This job is part of the Office Operations function. They are responsible for providing office support to a client, business function, or individual contributor. What You’ll Do: Ensure that all packages shipped across the campus are compliant and up to DOT/IATA standards. Ensure all teams remain DOT/IATA compliant. Maintain proper records. Oversee inventory management, invoicing, supply ordering. Maintain a par level of supplies and order replenishment as necessary. Check daily and replenish, if necessary, all supplies. Facilitate communication across various group email inboxes. Receive and direct incoming emails to appropriate personnel. Coordinate services for outbound mail. Ensure we have adequate staffing across the campus. Yearly retrain/cross training of staff. Manage daily trackers across campus. Answer common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisors and effectively present information to an internal group. Investigate and report deviations. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. Perform administrative dues specific to the department such as conducting research, updating databases, etc. Understand work routines and standards and apply skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems. Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval. Evaluate and select solutions from established options. Impact team through the quality of the services or information provided. Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance. What You’ll Need: High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of job-related experience. An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required. Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. - Strong organizational skills with a robust inquisitive mindset. General math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups. Excellent communication skills to exchange straightforward and complex information. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The compensation range is about $70,000 to $75,000 annual base salary plus 10% target bonus based on experience. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
