Warehouse General Laborer

Job Description

The Material Handler will support the operation to pull and sequence the orders received in a efficient timely manner to meet the shipping deadlines.

1st Shift Hours: 50-60 Hours weekly

Monday-Thursday 7:00am-6:30pm

Friday 8:30am-11:00pm

Saturday- As needed by customer demand.

2nd Shift Hours: 50-60 Hours weekly

Sunday- 10:30pm-7:00am

Monday- Thursday 6:30pm to 7:00am

Friday - As needed by customer demand.

Temp-Hire in 90 days

Paid Weekly

Duties/Responsibilities:

Receives incoming orders and selects the correct part from the warehouse and loads into dollies for staging the sequence order.
Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
When problems arise, resolve issues with Supervisors and Leadership.
Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Outstanding attendance and punctuality
Multi-tasking
Time management skills
Team player with strong communication skills
Be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and background.( no felonies, theft or violent charges)
Steel Toe shoes required.

Education and Experience:

At least two years of related experience in warehousing or manufacturing required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Having the ability to push, pull, lift, bend and stand throughout the shift.
Must wear safety gear, such as gloves when handling box cutters or similar tools.
