UniFide CST is looking for a Field Service Technician to install, inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair retail, industrial, and heavy-capacity weighing equipment throughout the Madison area. Whether your background is in maintenance, automotive repair, equipment service, manufacturing, electrical troubleshooting, or military service, we'd love to talk with you. The Role: As a Field Service Technician, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, providing hands‑on mobile support and expertise to businesses in the Madison and surrounding area. From diagnosing and resolving technical issues to installation and calibration, conducting preventive maintenance, and building lasting customer relationships, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our continued success. What A Day In The Life Looks Like: Install and service retail, industrial, and heavy‑capacity scales and weighing systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations Inspect and test equipment to ensure accuracy Complete service documentation and customer reports Load and unload tools, equipment, and calibration weights Travel to customer locations throughout the region Deliver excellent customer service while representing UniFide CST What We're Looking For: Preferred Backgrounds Field Service Technician Maintenance Technician Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Electrical Technician Manufacturing Technician Military Technician Experience Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and PC software) Valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to lift, move, and work with equipment safely Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to learn and complete required certifications Bonus Points If You Have Experience with industrial equipment Forklift experience CDL Class B (or willingness to obtain) Benefits: Starting Pay: $25-$27/hr Full Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance 8 Paid Holidays 3 Weeks PTO 401(K) W/ 3% Match Profit Sharing Incentive Bonus Career Advancement Opportunities W/ Pay Increases (Tech I, Tech II, Lead Tech) (Sales) (Management) Why Join Us: For decades, UniFide CST has helped customers solve weighing, printing, and data collection challenges.
